Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 2, 2026
At One Byte, we prioritize the protection and confidentiality of your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, and process your information when you access our licensing management control panel, public website, and automated key delivery mechanisms.
1. Information We Collect
To operate our secure licensing and key generation services, we collect only the minimum required technical data. This includes:
- Authentication Credentials: Administrative usernames and cryptographically hashed passwords. We never store plain text passwords.
- Licensing Data: Generated access keys, expiry times, durations, and device limit settings.
- Hardware Identification (HWID): Anonymized hardware hashes linked to access keys to enforce device limits and prevent licensing misuse.
- Transaction History: Logs of payment transactions, including dates, values, and gateway tracking identifiers.
- Server Logs: Technical activity logs including IP addresses, browser agent headers, and request timestamps to monitor security and prevent abuse.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
Your data is processed strictly for the following purposes:
- To validate generated access keys and coordinate device license locks.
- To facilitate instant, automated delivery of your purchases.
- To identify, debug, and patch server-side performance issues or access conflicts.
- To secure our infrastructure against malicious attacks, brute-force attempts, and unauthorized licensing generation.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any marketers or data brokers. Data is shared with third parties exclusively when necessary to process operations:
- TrueUPI: Handled securely to process and verify instant automated UPI payments.
- Brevo: Used solely to dispatch transactional transactional alerts, key delivery, and account recovery emails.
4. Retention & Storage Protection
All data is housed on cryptographically secure databases with strict, limited root access privileges. General server access logs are automatically pruned and deleted after 14 days of capture. Permanent records such as transaction lists and active keys are stored indefinitely or until manually deleted via administrative triggers.
5. Your Rights & Control
You have the full right to inquire about your stored license metadata, request account termination, or demand full wiping of your device-linked HWID records. For all inquiries or data management requests, please contact our support desk via our official channels.
